ManagerPlus is a growing Cloud (SaaS) software company based in Sandy, UT that is currently looking for a Marketing Development Representative to assist our marketing and sales team. The MDR role involves activity hunting new sales prospects via outbound calling and e-mail efforts to warm leads. The duel responsibilities of the MDR are to qualify opportunities for the inside sales team and provide an outstanding first exposure to ManagerPlus. As an MDR, you will be making outbound calls to warms leads in our targeted markets, understand their needs, explore whether the ManagerPlus Solution is the right fit for them, and set qualified appointments for our inside sales reps. You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams as you research and identify new lead opportunities to drive business growth. This is an exciting opportunity to learn, grow, and be part of our dynamic organization and culture. Performance will be measured on meetings set, leads touched, phone activity, and pipeline generated.  

Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist in lead generation, opportunity qualifications, and responding to inbound inquiries
    • Call potential prospects from warm leads and alternative lead sources
    • Schedule demos or phone meetings between our inside sales representatives and potential customers
    • Identify and penetrate new markets with potential clients who may need our services and solutions
  • Gather and report on market intelligence through quantitative and qualitative research


  • Support sales process through document preparation, analysis, reporting, and presentation development
  • Update and maintain accurate customer records with extensive use of Microsoft Dynamics
  • Meet daily and weekly performance metrics
  • Assist in other projects as needed 

What's required:

  • A minimum of 1 year proven sales or customer service experience in a fast-paced B2B inside selling environment
  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Knowledgeable about CRM systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Fearless and enthusiastic to make high volume of outbound calls
  • Confidence to overcome objections and convert interest into qualified leads in a positive and persuasive way
  • Customer-oriented with a true desire to be of service and willingness to help others
  • Active listening skills
  • Demonstrated ability to learn enterprise software solutions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong research and writing skills
  • High degree of initiative, drive and sound judgment and personal organizational skills
  • Knowledgeable using LinkedIn as a sales tool a plus
